Park plaque on Reynolds Ave entitled
"The Battle Opens". It's a guide to the surrounding monuments some of
which are pictured below. It recounts the events of the July 1st
confrontation between 7,000 Confederate troops and 3,200 dismounted
Union Calvary on this ridge.
