If you sit on the benches and look to your left there's a clearing in the trees that opens up to farm fields. At twilight I've seen deer out there feeding. It's quite a beautiful sight.

the right of the Longstreet Monument. This is where the Park holds
Ranger talks during the summer months and they're really worth the while
if you have the time.
