The magnificent Pennsylvania monument at sunset.
The Roll of Honor of Pennsylvania's sons who fought at Gettysburg is inscribed on the outer walls of the monument along with Lincoln's Gettysburg Address.
These engraved plaques are on the left front wall of the PA monument and the one on the right in this photo is a listing of the General Officers and their commands.

Entrance to the Peach Orchard which sits right on Emmitsburg road that runs through the middle of the Battlefield. It's a bit harder to spot now that it's been replanted and the trees are just saplings.

As you are driving out from the center of town down Emmistburg road the Peach Orchard will be on your left. Watch for these monuments that sit just off the road. Big Round Top looms on the horizon.

Monument to Gen. John Sedgwick. At the Battle of Gettysburg his corps arrived late on July 2nd and as a result only few units were able to take part in the final Union counterattacks in the Wheatfield.

His monument is quite beautiful in the Spring as it is ringed with Redbuds. You'll pass it if you continue straight ahead when you drive down the hill from the top of Little Round Top. It will be on your right.
