Look for Our Sign!   Come Right In!   Great Selection!   Browse a While!

The Friends Store is a project of the Adams County Friends of the Library.  The store, located on the lower level of the Adams County library building 140 Baltimore Street Gettysburg, opened April 1992 shortly after the library moved into what was the Gettysburg post office.   The entire staff is volunteer and all profits go to the Adams County Library.  Our hours are 9:30 to 4:30 Monday thru Saturday.

All books are donated.  We pride ourselves on our quality and our prices.  We have a good selection of  hardback and paperback fiction and a non-fiction section that includes civil war, military history, American history, psychology, art poetry and cooking.  All categories are organized and most are alphabetized by author.  Also we can offer a good selection of "collectables".
