Apple festivals are held each year at blossom and harvest time, 1st weekend
of May and 1st two weekends of October. Before we let the pictures speak for themselves, we just
want to say that these festivals, without a doubt, are the best organized events of
their kind which you are ever likely to attend. Everything from parking to sanitary facilities has
been planned for and provided right down to the smallest detail. We just can't say enough about this. The organization and operation
is simply outstanding.
We spoke at length with one of the crafters who displays his wares here every year. He told
us that he travels the entire East Coast and goes as far west as Ohio to attend craft shows.
He assured us that the Adams County Apple Festivals are the biggest and best run anywhere.

You'll be transported efficiently to and from the immense parking areas by bus. Once at the Fairgrounds you'll find countless booths of handcrafted items of every kind. You'll be entertained by bands, barbershop quartets and jugglers outside. Local singing and dancing groups entertain inside the Apple Auditorium where worship services are also provided on Sunday morning. Dad can drool over the antique cars while the kids ride ponies, enjoy the petting zoo and engage in the ever popular scarecrow art.
You can have your breakfast, lunch and dinner here without ever leaving the South Mountain Fair Grounds. You'll dine on barbeque beef, pork, sausage and almost anything else you might desire. And by the way, if it can be made with apples, it's here! All in all we promise that the Adams County Apple Festivals are a place you can take your entire family and spend a truly enjoyable day.
Mark your calendars for the 1st weekend of May and the 1st two weekends of October. North, South, East or West the Adams County Apple Festivals are simply the best!
